The Loyalty Summit is a unique annual event which spotlights exclusively on Loyalty issues and practices, and brings together leading industry practitioners and companies, while recognizing and awarding the Best Loyalty Programs in the country under various categories. The two day summit discussed ‘Next Generation Loyalty” with a focus on emerging trends, Loyalty Reward Schemes, Value of Analytics, psychological perspectives and et al.
The different award categories included Consumer Durables and Non-Durables, Auto, Retail, Banking, Insurance, Mutual Fund, IT, Commercial Airlines, Logistics, Oil and Gas, Telecom and Travel and Tourism sector.
IndianOil has created a hat-trick by winning the award this year too, under the Oil and Gas Sector category, and the other contenders for the award included HPCL, BPCL, Gail and ONGC. The award was given to IndianOil, for its XTRAPOWER and XTRAREWARDS programs, which has a combined customer base of 2.5 million and boasts of customer spends worth Rs. 16,000 crores per annum.
The Loyalty Awards are the outcome of a combination of Consumer Research undertaken in 6 cities of India comprising a sample of 50,000 consumers aided by nominations received from organisations. These Awards are governed by a Jury from KPMG, who on the basis of the findings, decide the Award Winners in each category.
Ms. Kelly Hlavanka, Managing Partner, Colloquy, and Mr. Karlschuster, President, Asia Pacific, Carlson Marketing gave away the awards to Shri. H.S.Bedi, ED (RS), and Shri. N.Srikumar, ED (Branding, CC and Planning and Economic Studies).
The two-day event also witnessed an exciting sales promotion from IndianOil, where participants who dropped their visiting cards at the IndianOil counter, were surprised with a lucky draw. 10 such lucky draw winners were each given Rs.500/- worth XTRAPOWER Easy Fuel Gift Card. Shri.H.S.Bedi selected the winners on the stage and gave away the Easy Fuel cards. One of the proud recipients included Ms. Rajnish Chawla, VP and Head Marketing Services, ICICI Prudential.
