How does one load cash on to the XTRAPOWER prepaid card ?

Loading your card with money value is the first transaction on your prepaid card. There are two ways of loading a card.

  1. Manual Reload :
    To load your prepaid card, you can pay the desired amount to be loaded on the card at any of the designated Retail Outlets and present the card for loading the money value on to the card, The money value so loaded on any card shall be treated as payment in advance for future purchases of products at designated Retail Outlets. All subsequent reloading of card would be done in the similar way.

  2. CCMS Reload :
    • The card member can also use CCMS reload facility for reloading of card. For CCMS Reload, the card member will have to first deposit a lump sum amount at a designated Retail Outlet for recharge of his CCMS A/c (Central Cash Management System). The money so loaded in the CCMS account by the card member is available for reload on any of his fleet cards (depending upon the allocation limits set by the card member) from any of the designated Retail Outlets in the country .This payment for CCMS Recharge should be made at designated retail outlets of IndianOil.

    • The facility of CCMS Recharge is also available through cheque payment into Indian Oil's fleet card a/c at over 200 CMS branches of HDFC bank spread across the country.

    • Net banking facilities to customers having FINWARE a/c with HDFC will be shortly made available. To avail of the above facilities, customers will have to fill one time registration form and get in touch with our Customer helpline or our Fleet Marketing Officers.

How do I pay by Transfer Cheque ?

Once a customer has been registered for this service, he may draw a local cheque (HDFC or non-HDFC) in favour of "Indian Oil Corporation Ltd" using a special deposit slip available with local Fleet Marketing Officer or from the CMS branches of HDFC. For filling deposit slip you need to mention XTRAPOWER Customer ID and Customer Name clearly on the deposit slip as well as at the reverse of the cheque. IOCL's client code i.e. FIOCLCM should be written in the designated box in the deposit slip.

Can I make payment using Cheque DD/P.O. of bank other than HDFC bank ?

Yes, provided it is local.

When will I be able to use the fund for CCMS Reload ?

  • Transfer of fund to your CCMS a/c can be made after the cheque is cleared and fund is received in Indian Oil's a/c. Clear fund available in Indian Oil's a/c gets transferred to the CCMS a/c happens daily at 0930 hrs and 1930 hrs.
  • For cheques getting cleared thru' High Value Clearing facility the fund will get transferred to your CCMS a/c at 0930 hrs on the next day* (D+1). For other cheques which go into MICR clearing, the fund will get transferred to your CCMS a/c at 0930 hrs a day* later i.e. D+2.
    Norms for classification as High Value Cheque is defined as per RBI guidelines and amongst others it is dependent upon the value of the cheque and the distance between the drawee branch and local Clearing Bank's location in your city / town. You may please get clarity on this from your banker.

Note : As is evident from above, the above facility is dependent upon the functioning of banking channels and is governed by RBI guidelines.
*Only on bank working days.

Can I allocate fund from CCMS A/c to reload specific card?

Yes. The facility is available through XTRAPOWER website.

The steps to be followed are as under :

  1. Login to the www.iocxtrapower.com.
  2. Select 'Set CCMS Reload Limit' from the menu
  3. Under the Card Details, all your cards would be listed. The CCMS Reload Limit for the cards can be set in three ways to
 

suit your requirement. The available options for setting CCMS Reload limits are Unlimited, Daily and One time. In case you wish to allow any amount by reloading on a particular card, set the Daily CCMS Reload Limit as 'Unlimited'. The amount set as Daily limit is available for loading of card everyday subject to the availability of funds in the CCMS a/c. The amount set as one- time limit works till the amount has been fully utilized by a card, after which the limit will have to be set again for a card to avail of CCMS reloading.

Can I transfer fund from one card to another card?

Yes. Fund Transfer facility from one card to another card is available. For doing this, first transfer the required amount from a card with sufficient balance to your CCMS account and then reload the same amount on the desired card through CCMS Reload.

What is the minimum and maximum limit per day for loading money?

The minimum amount that you can load per card is Rs.500, and in the multiples of Rs.100 thereafter. The maximum amount that can be loaded on a card would be limited to the card limit specified by the Card member.

How to use the card?

The cardholder i.e. the driver of the vehicle will have to present the card to a designated Retail Outlet of IndianOil and ask the pump operator to dispense the product (fuel/lubes) as per his requirement Subject to the availability of sufficient card balance, the pump operator will carry out the required sale transaction on the card. All sale transactions would have to be authorized by the cardholder by entering his PIN as and when prompted by the smart card terminal.

What is transaction slip?

For every transaction, charge slip would be printed (shown alongside) for your records. This slip will indicate the date, time and location of the transaction, card number, product purchased, value of purchase, card balance after transaction and odometer reading of the vehicle (if provided by the driver) etc. One copy of the transaction slip is given to the driver of the vehicle. With the help of these slips you can keep track of your auto fuel/ lubes expenses and routes traveled by each of your fleet vehicles.

If one enrolls 10 vehicles, will it be possible to load cash once and distribute amongst 10 vehicles?

Yes, using CCMS account (Ref. Para 3.1 b& 3.2).
